Opera Garnier and More

Down in the depths of the Louvre Metro this violinist was playing (well) as her petit chien slept.

 What a shame !

 Some fun stuff.

Galeries Lafayette was heaving with people as usual.

At Astier de Villatte - see what you mean Elizabeth !

Just 20 euros for a surprise bag at the trendy Colette store.

We were tempted to abandon the Sloggis here !

Love the look of this store.

Lunch at Hotel Costes - surprisingly friendly service and great people watching.

 Our model of a waitress!

Perfect for that private dinner party.

My kind of heavenly florist shop - nothing but roses ...

The shop smelled as divine as it looked.

Yes, please ...

We cut through the beautiful Place Vendome.

Arrived at the Opera Garnier in time for our tour which was well worthwhile.

 The lobby.

 The magnificent Marc Chagall ceiling.

 Swan Lake detail.

 A splendid costume from Turandot.

A tutu designed by Christian Lecroix for Carmen.

A Herve Leger costume - only in Paris.

Detail of a jacket embroidered at Maison Lesage.

Wish I could buy one of these pretty lamps for Sophia.

 Adore pale pink tulle.

 Fun chair !

That's all for now folks !
