My stay in the Luberon was made even more appealing by renting a two bedroom cottage on the grounds of a beautiful property just near St Pantaleon which is in the heart of the Luberon.
Quite hard to find, down a winding, country road and hidden in the trees, the view from the terrace takes in the perched hilltop village of Gordes, which looks extra special at night as it twinkles in the distance.

The sitting room is compact, but quite adequate, as it is nicer to eat outdoors anyway. There is a very well equipped kitchen when you do feel like cooking ...

Wine, cheese and cherries with a view ....
The charming owners are happy to share their swimming pool ...
and their cherry orchard ...
... and asked us for drinks on their balcony accompanied by their two beautiful Pyrenees Mountain sheep dogs,
Mai
and Lan.
