Cooking School - Part 3

On the last night of the cooking course we were served champagne as we graduated with flying colours !




After our award ceremony, Philippe prepared the most wonderful seafood and chicken paella from a recipe given to him by Maria Larragnara, an old lady friend in his village. He cooked outside on a special gas burner and dish which would be ideal for our summer entertaining too.


 The finished result was the MOST delicious paella you could ever taste !

 We drank fresh spring water from a well in their garden ...


... and a memorable red, or two ...


Philippe entertained us some more ...
... which sadly brought us to the conclusion of our culinary journey.
