Continuing on the Luberon trail, Bonnieux is small and rustic, but well worth a visit ... it began as a fortified village in 972AD and was originally situated lower down the hill, but by the 13th century when invaders were even more active, it had moved to its present position.
The colourful street market is on a Friday morning
Le Fournil is a pleasant place for lunch
Provence is just one of 22 regions in France and its various departments certainly have a lot to offer the traveller!
