The Daily Baguette - my time in Paris ... and other places
06 June 2011
This pretty restaurant started life as a boulangerie in 1780 and has now been revamped by the Costes brothers. We enjoyed a light lunch and a break from our explorations of the historic St Paul area.
It was a gorgeous day and there is a charming terrace, but we chose to sit inside and soak up the atmosphere.
I love the hand painted windows that were such a specialty of the old baker's shops.
The very pretty ceiling is an original feature of the 18th century building.
Just near the river Seine and worth a visit ...
