More on Monday

It was like a summer's day as we walked back through the Tuileries - people were sun baking and sailing model boats like these ...

The pigeons have very important places to perch, but apparently they are disliked by Parisians who call them "flying rats"...

                                          Ever felt like this ?

Love the old and the new

Isn't this Metro entrance fantastic ?
It is in the Place Colette and was designed by the artist Jean-Michel Othoniel to celebrate the centenary of the Paris Metro in 2000.
The two cupolas represent day and night and the structure / sculpture is created in aluminium and Murano glass.

We did not join this outdoor exercise class, but it did look like fun !
